The countdown to the FIFA World Cup is on, and South Africans in Berlin are coming together for what promises to be a memorable community gathering as Bafana Bafana take on Mexico.

What began as a simple idea has grown into something much bigger. Thanks to the incredible enthusiasm and support from the community, we now have an official venue and a chance to create a true South African atmosphere right here in Berlin.

Join fellow South Africans, friends, families, and football supporters for an evening of connection, good food, great music, and World Cup excitement at Beach Neukölln.

What to Expect

Live screening of South Africa vs Mexico

South African Braai Area
We’re creating a dedicated braai space to bring a taste of home to Berlin if you’re able to, bring some meat to throw on the braai and help us keep the South African spirit alive.

Community Snack Table
Bring along a South African snack, treat, or dish to share. Every contribution helps create a warm, welcoming atmosphere and gives everyone a taste of home.

Music, Vibes & Community
Expect good music, familiar faces, new friendships, and plenty of gees before, during, and after the match.

A Home Away From Home
Flags, colours, culture, and Ubuntu. Whether you’ve been in Germany for years or arrived recently, this is an opportunity to connect with fellow South Africans and celebrate together.
